    Be Fond of Baking!

by Sarah Racine January 13, 2021
    written by Sarah Racine

Welcome everyone! I’m Sarah Racine, a pastry chef, professional baker, and passionate home cook. I know there’s millions of food resources out there, so I’m flattered that mine has caught your attention.

Bake Fondly’s mission is to demystify the rules of baking, equipping you to make extraordinary foods in which you have both creative freedom and technical ability.

We do this through a variety of services. I can be hired as a private chef for the event of your dreams. With a variety of options including classes, kids’ parties, or even a multi-course plated meal, I would love to bring my expertise to your home for any special occasion! Please visit the Events tab for more information.

In addition, I have posts explaining “key concepts” for different baking projects, giving you the WHY behind the what and some more context as to why recipes say to add ingredients in a certain order, why a rest period is so needed, or how to manipulate certain techniques to get your desired outcome.

Lastly, I have some free recipes posted for your enjoyment. The bulk of these recipes have a customization element to them, giving you the freedom to experiment and make a baked good unique and to your liking, without the fear of failure since all the techniques are still in place.

I hope you learn something and eat a delicious baked good very soon. Set forth and Bake Fondly!
